With more than 13 years of experience, WILD West Aquatic Club Head Coach, Luke Egnaczak, started the team to increase the popularity of swimming within the community and to ignite passion for swimmers. Luke, one of the only ASCA Level 4 swimming coaches in the state of New Mexico, has the ability to unlock the potential of each individual. Coach Luke has illustrated his dynamic coaching structure through various facets including the startup and ownership of Wild West Aquatic Club for the past 11 years, 5 years of Head Coaching experience in the high school realm, Head Master’s Coaching, and Head Age Group Coaching.
Coach Luke has the ability to lift the passion and determination out of each and every one of his swimmers including Letticia Martinez, a Paralympian Olympic team member and current National Team member who holds 23 American records as an S-11 Legally Blind Swimmer. Even more so, Luke has served as the Head Coach for 3 Olympic Trial qualifying athletes, 1 Canadian Trial qualifier, 4 National Qualifiers, 2 Jr. National Qualifiers, and 5 High School All Americans.
Luke has facilitated tremendous accomplishments of WILD swimmers who currently hold 34 separate NM State Records and who have won over 50 individual State titles. The efforts of Coach Luke and his competitive athletes have been illustrated in Splash Magazine 5 times in which WILD swimmers’ National Top 10 rankings have been highlighted by in their prospective age groups. Through the illustration of his accomplishments, Luke has fostered the growth and culture of WILD to create a fun and competitive environment for athletes from all walks of life.
